Karie has been an active member of her community for over 20 years, she is so excited to be turning her local focus towards real estate. Her background in healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist for the past 23 years and her active role within the Lawrence community, and the Oskaloosa School District, has given her the chance to help many people in so many different ways. Karie will be the familiar face for her clients on this journey to selling their home, or buying their forever home. Becoming a realtor offers the perfect opportunity to bring together her passion for real estate, love for homes, familiarity with the area, and her community commitment to Douglas County, Jefferson County, and the surrounding areas. When Karie isn’t making homeownership dreams come true, she enjoys spending time camping, riding horses, boating at Lake Perry, or down time around the house tending to the variety of farm animals including horses, ducks, cats, and her flock of chickens. Karie lives on a small farm in rural Jefferson County with her husband, children, and their dog Hank!
