Born and raised in Lawrence, Maria is extremely familiar with the Lawrence area. In 2003, she moved just outside of Lawrence to Eudora, KS, where she raised her children and is currently residing with her husband and daughter, who is the last remaining child at home before becoming empty nesters . Maria spent about 28 years in and out of the insurance industry handling mostly personal lines sales and providing top notch customer service to those she had the pleasure to work with. However, real estate has always been a passion for her! After Maria and her husband, Nate, completed their first successful full house remodel, she was hooked! She knew she had to take this real estate thing further and therefore, she started her career as a Realtor® knowing she would be helpful to her clients when it came to preparing their homes for sale and helping them envision all the possibilities of a property. Maria enjoys all things design related as well as staging for others! She likes to think she has a PhD in design with the amount of HGTV programs, online classes, seminars, podcasts, YouTube videos, etc. that she has enjoyed learning from over all these years (more like decades!). Maria enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially during lake season! Maria and her husband enjoy traveling and hope that the love of travel gets passed on to their children. She also enjoys interior design, home improvement projects, and complete house flips and remodels. There is a running joke in her family that every time someone comes over to the house she has “upgraded” or added a new design or piece of décor since the last visit. As she likes to say, “It’s always a work in progress.”
